Our biggest wish would be to make cancer all go away! It is a difficult time to begin with for a teenager: bursting hormones, budding sexuality, a desire to both blend in and stand out, teenage angst, attitude and heightened self-consciousness. Then when cancer gets tossed into the mix, undergoing treatments that can take their hair, alter their bodies, and cause hospital stays, add a new layer of difficult to an already difficult time.

We know we can’t have our fist wish come true, so instead, we wish to be able to give every AYA (adolescent & young adult) oncology patients that ask for one, their own MIP Kit. Many items go into a kit with each item hoping to foster a positive connection between how the patient feels and the patient’s journey as they battle cancer. For us, the more helpers we have to put together the items we need for a kit, the more MIP Kits we can give out! Below is our Wish List for Amazon.com.
