When Melissa Delaney-Doliner's son, Colin, was diagnosed with cancer, he earned a nickname that would grow into something much more.

"The oncologist on call said, don't worry, you're the 'Most Important Person' here," said Delaney-Doliner. "I made a joke and laughed and said, look at that, you know what, we're going to call you the MIP from now on."

Unfortunately, Colin passed away in 2018. But later that year, Delaney-Doliner took a leap of faith and created The MIP Foundation.

The nonprofit accepts nominations for teens that are battling cancer and gives them special gifts to make them feel like the 'Most Important Person.'

"We support these amazing teenagers and young adults through MIP kits, which are very personalized materials, to give them coping skills to manage their diagnosis," said Delaney-Doliner.

WE DID IT PHILLY! We are so proud to announce that over $3 million dollars generated from the sales of ‘A Philly Special Christmas Special’ vinyl album has been donated to a variety of handpicked organizations in Philadelphia and beyond.

Every musician involved in this year’s record nominated a nonprofit that was important to them, and we couldn’t be more proud to support these organizations who are making a positive impact in their communities!

Thank you for including The MIP Foundation as a recipient of album fundraising!

Thank you KMS Foundation for your support!

The Karen M. Stone Charitable Foundation was born out of a desire to honor the life and legacy of Karen by supporting the charitable causes (as well as others) that she supported during her lifetime. We firmly believe that we have the ability to make the same positive effect on the world that Karen did.

The foundation was established in 2023 by her husband, Scott, after the sale of the company that he and Karen built together. It was Scott’s thought that a portion of the proceeds from the sale be put to better use to be a catalyst for positive change in the lives of people who need it most.
