Shannon Ferguson
Shannon is a proud member of the Programming and 5K committees. She was born and raised in northern NJ until she met her husband at Bloomsburg University and he swayed her to move to the Philadelphia area in 2008 where she has been an Eagles fan since.
Shannon is a proud Mom to three sweethearts ages 10, 7, and 4 and currently lives with her kids, her husband, Ken, dog Murphy, and cat Scrapple in Flourtown, PA. She loves being outside in nature, spending time at the beach, in the Wissahickon, with her family, and just being active.

It was honestly a lifeline for me in those early years of motherhood and I have built lifelong friendships for myself and my kids because of that community Melissa built. I got to know Melissa during that time and truly looked up to her as a Mom, a business owner, and a friend. When Colin got sick, I knew I was going to help in any way I could. Melissa’s strength and honesty through it all, and her ability to find a way to help others after Colin’s death - I hope to help the MIP Foundation spread every ounce of good possible.””
